EVENTS
TransSLO organsed a series of events related to the aims and objectives of the project. These events disseminated information about key players in the area of Sustainable Transport in Slovenia, the surrounding countries and the EU.
The main events were:
PhD Day - This event brought together PhD Researchers currently working in the field of transport research. Their presentations showed the current state-of-the-art in Slovenian transport research. Presentations were judged by a panel of experts in the area of transport research and a prize was awarded to the best judged presentation.
TransSLO workshop - Slovenian & European Transport Research priorities
The results of this worskhop was presented at the Transport Research Arena - TRA 2008 held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on the 21 April 2008.
The results from the interactive workshops were exceptionally well received by the Ministry of Transport who have adopted some of the findings to help develop their National Research Agenda and road maps for Slovenia.
